Nigerian superstar David Adeleke, known as Davido, has revealed that he has been struggling to sleep since the death of his fellow singer and rapper Ilerioluwa Aloba, more famous as Mohbad.
The Nigerian music community is in shock and sorrow following the tragic death of the young rapper and artist Mohbad. Among the personalities affected by this painful loss is the renowned artist Davido, who has expressed his grief and respect for his late colleague.
In addition to recently paying tribute to his late colleague during his Timeless concert in Manchester, Davido has now decided to officially break his silence on the death of the young artist. In an emotional post on his Instagram page, Davido praised Mohbad’s strong spirit and revealed the sleepless nights he has endured since losing the young rapper.
“Mohbad, your spirit is strong… I can’t find sleep since your departure,” he wrote on his Instastories, testifying to Mohbad’s profound influence on the Nigerian music scene.
To conclude, Chioma’s husband also announced that he would be traveling to the country to participate in a candlelight procession in honor of Mohbad. The procession is scheduled for Thursday and will begin at the Lekki Phase 1 gate, culminating in a tribute concert at Muri Okunola Park.
