France Football has revealed on Wednesday the list of nominees for the Yachine Trophy 2023, awarded to the best goalkeeper of the season. Real Madrid’s goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is a candidate for his own succession.

In addition to the Belgian goalkeeper, we naturally find Ederson, who won all titles with Manchester City in the previous season. Moroccan Yassine Bounou, excellent during the last World Cup 2022, is also present, as well as Cameroonian André Onana, who recently joined Manchester United.

Emiliano Martinez, who was a World Cup champion with Argentina, is of course on the list. It is also worth mentioning the presence of Brice Samba from RC Lens. The winner will be revealed on October 30th during the Ballon d’Or France Football ceremony in Paris, which honors the best players in the world of football from the past season.
