After the draw that took place on Thursday, July 13, 2023, in Ivory Coast, on the sidelines of the 45th Ordinary General Assembly of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), the schedule for the World Cup 2026 qualifiers has been made public.
The journey of the Togolese national team, the Eperviers, will begin in the coming November with two crucial matches against Sudan and Senegal. Placed in Group B, Togo will face formidable opponents such as the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Mauritania, and South Sudan, alongside whom they will vie for a spot in the grand football event in 2026.
The first challenge for the Togolese team will be an away match against Sudan as part of the first round. Subsequently, they will return home for a highly anticipated showdown with Senegal’s Teranga Lions.
