Facing a lot of pressure from parents, relatives, and followers regarding marriage, Ivorian singer Yemi Alade did not hesitate to respond. She did so during an interview.

Nigerian music diva Yemi Alade is currently feeling very angry. And for good reason, she is receiving pressure from her family, parents, friends, close ones, and even followers to enter into a relationship.

Feeling frustrated by this, the 34-year-old singer made it clear during an interview with Cool FM radio. She made it clear that she will not succumb to the pressure to get into a relationship, but that she will do so at the right time. “People often get married, especially toward the end of each year. I don’t feel pressured. When the time comes, it will happen. It’s difficult to resist family pressure because it comes from people I respect and admire, who insist that I get married. However, I believe that if they truly have my best interests at heart, they will be patient with me because finding the right partner is more crucial than simply getting married. Otherwise, no one can force me to get married,” she said.

Just a few months ago, there was a controversy claiming that Yemi Alade was dating the Togolese president, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé. However, the singer quickly denied this information.
