The Ukrainian government has decided to dismiss six deputy defense ministers on Monday, following the appointment of a new defense minister earlier this month.

The Ukrainian government has dismissed six deputy defense ministers on Monday, according to the representative of the Cabinet in Parliament. Taras Melnychuk, the government’s representative in Parliament, wrote on Telegram that among the dismissed deputy ministers were Volodymyr Gavrilov, Vitaliy Deynega, Hanna Maliar, Rostislav Zamlinsky, Denys Sharapov, and Andriy Shevchenko.

Konstantin Vashchenko, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense, was also dismissed. Only the First Deputy Minister of Defense, Oleksandr Pavlyuk, was retained in his position. The government representative did not provide any explanation for such a reshuffle within the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense.
