Rapper Travis Scott has responded to the cancellation of his concert in Egypt, which was scheduled to take place on Friday, July 28, 2023.

The American rapper, Travis Scott, will not be performing in Egypt on the said date at the feet of the Giza Pyramids as originally planned. The opportunity for the artist to showcase his new album titled ‘Utopia’ has been canceled by the Egyptian Musicians’ Union in a statement.

However, according to Live Nation, the concert organizer, who released a statement on Twitter, the show is still set to take place in Egypt. “There has been no change in the schedule. Any contrary information is false,” they clarified.

On his part, Travis Scott has responded to the opposition from the Egyptian Musicians’ Union. He emphasizes that his concert aims to unite people through music. In his message, Travis Scott reassured that security measures are in place to ensure the safety of the audience.

For now, the Egyptian Musicians’ Union has not had the last word. However, despite their opposition, Travis Scott does not intend to cancel his concert.
