According to AFP, confirmed by RMC Sport on Monday, PSG has accepted Al Hilal’s offer of 300 million euros for Kylian Mbappé. The Saudi club is now authorized to enter into discussions with the Parisian striker.
The Kylian Mbappé saga continues to animate the transfer market. Determined not to let their superstar leave for free in June 2024, the French capital club is willing to sell the Bondynois during the current transfer window. In this regard, L’Equipe recently announced that Paris Saint-Germain has received an official offer of 300 million euros, including bonuses, for Mbappé.
This proposal seems to have convinced Paris Saint-Germain, as AFP and RMC Sport reported in the afternoon of this Monday that the Parisian management has accepted the offer from the Saudi club. As a result, the Saudi Pro League side now has permission to directly negotiate with Kylian Mbappé.
According to CBS News, Al Hilal would be willing to offer an astronomical salary of 700 million euros for a single season to KM7. RMC Sport, on the other hand, mentions a salary of 200 million euros per year for a 2-year contract. According to the French media, so far, only the offer from the Saudi club has been presented to PSG. However, it is noted that two English clubs, including Chelsea, have expressed their interest by making inquiries.
It should be clarified that this offer, accepted by PSG, does not oblige Kylian Mbappé to commit to Al Hilal. In fact, the Bondynois has repeatedly stated since the beginning of this affair that he intends to play for PSG next season. The French club, which only plans to keep its player if he extends his contract, has sidelined him from the tour in Japan and placed him in training with the lofteurs (the unwanted players of the club). Despite this situation, the French international appeared all smiles while signing autographs after leaving the training center in Poissy on Saturday.
