During the Sport Bild awards on Tuesday, FC Barcelona striker Robert Lewandowski discussed Harry Kane’s arrival at Bayern Munich this summer. The Polish forward believes it’s a positive development for the German club as well as for the league.

To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Bundesliga, several players who have been part of the German league were honored. Robert Lewandowski, alongside prominent figures in German football like Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Thomas Müller, Matthias Sammer, Lothar Matthäus, and Felix Magath, was named a “Legend” of the Bundesliga during the SPORT BILD awards ceremony.

During the event, the current FC Barcelona striker commented on Harry Kane’s move to Bayern Munich this summer. The transfer is something that Lewandowski approves of. “He’s a great striker. It’s a big transfer, not just for Bayern, but also for the entire Bundesliga,” he stated, as reported by Footmercato.

In Bayern Munich’s victory (4-0) against Werder Bremen last Friday, Harry Kane scored his first goal in his new colors and provided an assist in the same match. These promising debut performances aim to fill the shoes of Robert Lewandowski, who has been shining for FC Barcelona since last season.
