According to Footmercato’s information on Thursday, PSG has completed the signing of Portuguese forward Gonzalo Ramos, who currently plays for Benfica Lisbon. The operation will cost the Parisians approximately €80 million, including bonuses.
Despite active recruitment, PSG still lacks a true number 9 for its attack. This need was felt during the club’s recent friendly matches, where the team struggled to convert its chances. However, the Parisian management has already found a solution. Indeed, according to Footmercato, the young striker from Benfica Lisbon, Gonzalo Ramos, will join Luis Enrique’s squad.
According to the same source, Paris Saint-Germain has already finalized the deal, which will cost them around €80 million, including bonuses. Only some details remain to be sorted out. Gonçalo Ramos will sign his contract with PSG until 2028, and he is destined to become the central pillar of the Parisian attack. Although there were some reservations about his name not long ago, Luis Campos acted promptly to overcome the obstacles.
However, Footmercato clarifies that Gonzalo Ramos’s arrival will not prevent PSG from signing other attackers. According to the same source, the Parisian club is still alert on other deals, including those of Bradley Barcola, with a new offer submitted to Lyon, and Randal Kolo Muani, with whom contacts have intensified again. As a reminder, PSG is very close to signing Ousmane Dembélé from FC Barcelona. The club’s attack will have a proud look next season if it manages to finalize all these deals.
