According to information from L’Equipe, confirmed on Wednesday by RMC Sport, Kylian Mbappé has rejected the offer from Al Hilal. The Frenchman will not be joining Saudi Arabia.

Representatives from the Saudi club, Al-Hilal, were in Paris this week to finalize some deals, and it was on this occasion that they attempted to persuade Mbappé to join their ranks. Paris Saint-Germain had allowed discussions after accepting a staggering transfer offer valued at 300 million euros, including attractive bonuses. Additionally, in an effort to entice the young forward, Al-Hilal offered him an astonishing salary of 200 million euros per year for a two-year contract.

However, Kylian Mbappé categorically declined this tempting offer from Saudi Arabia, according to exclusive information from L’Équipe, confirmed by RMC Sport on Wednesday. The Bondy-born player’s position has always been crystal clear: he wants to leave PSG freely in one year. He appears determined to honor his contract with the Parisian club until its end before making a decision about his future. This attitude reinforces the persistent speculation that the player may already have an agreement behind the scenes with the prestigious Spanish club, Real Madrid, for a signature in 2024.

For Paris Saint-Germain, Mbappé’s refusal to accept the offer from Saudi Arabia is interpreted as further evidence of his intentions to join Real Madrid as a free agent next season. As a reminder, PSG officials decided to leave their star player out of the Japan tour in order to push the French striker to make a decision between extending his contract or being sold. However, the French international seems determined to fight with his management, even if it means staying on the Parisian bench for as long as necessary.
