The Saudi club Al Hilal has officially announced the arrival of Cameroonian defender Claudia Dabda, who has signed a two-year contract with the women’s section of the Gulf team from Toulouse.
Deep into this summer transfer window with several stars recruited for the men’s team, Al Hilal is also paying attention to its women’s team. The Riyadh-based club has confirmed the arrival of defender Claudia Dabda from Toulouse. The Cameroonian international has committed to a two-season deal with the Saudi team, until 2025. Details of the deal, including the transfer fee and player’s salary, have not been disclosed.
A former player of Louves Minproff, Claudia Dabda moved to Europe in 2020, signing with Dinamo Minsk in Belarus. Hardworking and talented, she quickly became one of the key players in her team. The 22-year-old defender was crowned Belarusian champion three times and won three national cups and two Super Cups.
From Eastern Europe, the Cameroonian moved west after her contract in Belarus ended. Joining Toulouse in January last year, she will ultimately only play one season with the French club. Now, she will write new chapters in her career in Saudi Arabia.
