PSV Eindhoven’s midfielder, Ibrahim Sangaré, could be leaving the club to join Bayern Munich, as the Bavarian club has made the Ivorian international its priority for this summer.
Three years after arriving at PSV Eindhoven from Toulouse, Ibrahim Sangaré might be leaving the Dutch club. The Ivorian midfielder is on Bayern Munich’s radar. The Bavarian club, which has already signed South Korean defensive rock Kim Min-jae and is on the verge of securing striker Harry Kane, is looking to add the Elephant to bolster its midfield. A highly-valued target of Thomas Tuchel, who has made him a priority according to Foot Mercato’s information.
The 25-year-old player is valued at €35-40 million and is under contract with the Dutch giants until 2027. An amount within the reigning German champions’ budget, but they need to act quickly, as several other top clubs on the continent are also eyeing the midfielder. After Liverpool last month, Nottingham Forest was mentioned, but no progress has been made on the English club’s side.
Last season, Sangaré played 45 times in all competitions as PSV finished second in the Eredivisie and won the KNVB Cup. Ibrahim Sangaré scored eight goals and provided three assists.
