In need of playing time at Amiens, Ange Josué Chibozo has been loaned to FC Paços de Ferreira in the Portuguese second division until the end of the season.
Ange Josué Chibozo will not be staying at Amiens in France this season. The Beninese forward has been loaned to FC Paços de Ferreira in the Portuguese second division. The Portuguese club has secured the services of the 20-year-old striker for one year, until the end of the 2023-2024 season. This is an opportunity for the young “Cheetah” to bounce back, as he has been lacking playing time in Picardy.
Chibozo had played in 26 matches for Amiens, providing three assists, in the previous season. The Beninese player had joined the Picardy side from Juventus. It was a fruitful journey for the young Beninese player, who was trained in the Juventus youth academy.
During his time at the Juventus youth academy, the player had scored 20 goals in 43 appearances and netted 4 goals in 8 outings in the Youth League. These impressive statistics have proven difficult for Chibozo to replicate in France. Perhaps he left the Turin nest too early?
