The Prof Dodzi Kokokoro, Minister of Primary, Secondary, Technical and Vocational Education and Crafts of Togo, has taken a firm decision by terminating the duties of Mr. Kolani Dambé, Head of the Accounting Section at IEPP Est-Mono. This measure was formalized by a decree dated August 2, 2023, following allegations of financial misconduct.
Mr. Kolani Dambé is no longer the head of the accounting section at IEPP Est-Mono. The first-class teacher has been dismissed from his duties by the Minister of Primary, Secondary, Technical and Vocational Education and Crafts of Togo. His dismissal was notified to him in a decree received by Bénin Web Tv.
Prof Dodzi Kokokoro is thus demonstrating his strong commitment to fight against corruption and promote transparent financial management within the public administration. “The decree takes effect from its date of signature and will be published in the Official Journal of the Togolese Republic,” the document reads.
This decision aims to send a strong message to those who might be tempted to engage in embezzlement. The ministry is taking rigorous measures to preserve the integrity of public institutions and ensure responsible and ethical use of financial resources.
