In a recently published presidential decree, President Faure Gnassingbé has announced a series of key appointments at the helm of the armed forces’ services.
New appointments within the Togolese armed forces’ healthcare services. Three colonel doctors and one lieutenant colonel have been promoted as new heads of the military medical services. Among them, Colonel Doctor Komi Agba has been appointed Central Director of the Armed Forces Health Service (DCSSA).
Furthermore, Colonel Doctor Saliou Adam is taking the reins of the School of the Armed Forces Health Service in Lomé (ESSAL) as its director. Accompanied by Lieutenant Colonel Tchilalo Mouzou, who now holds the position of Deputy Director of ESSAL, Colonel Doctor Adam’s mission will be to ensure high-quality training for future healthcare professionals within the armed forces.
Colonel Doctor Dzidzogbé Kokou Eric Gumedzoe, on the other hand, has been designated to lead the Military Pavilion of the Sylvanus Olympio University Teaching Hospital (PM-CHU SO) in Lomé.
These appointments also coincide with the retirement of the National Coordinator for Covid-19 Response Management (CNGR), Colonel Doctor Mohaman Djibril.
