As part of the academic year 2023-2024, a competitive recruitment process has been opened for the attention of new high school graduates to gain admission to the Ecole Polytechnique de Lomé (EPL).
Mr. Komla Dodzi Kokoroko, President of the University of Lomé’s Council, has announced the implementation of an entrance exam for admission to the Ecole Polytechnique de Lomé (EPL) for the academic year 2023-2024. This institution, housed within the University of Lomé, offers two distinct paths: the “Fundamental Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Sciences” and the “Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Sciences.”
Indeed, this opportunity is for new high school graduates who wish to study in fields such as Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Systems, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, as well as Logistics and Transportation. The training also extends to paths in Software Engineering, Systems, and Computer Networks.
The requirements to fulfill… For the “Fundamental Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Sciences” path, the candidate must hold a baccalaureate diploma from series C, D, E or any equivalent diploma, dated no more than two (2) years ago (BAC 2021).
For the “Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Sciences” path, the candidate must hold a baccalaureate diploma from series C, D, E, F1, F2, F3, F4 and Ti, or any equivalent diploma, dated no more than two (2) years ago (2021).
The application dossier, to be submitted to the EPL secretariat at the University of Lomé, must include the following elements:
A handwritten letter addressed to the President of the University of Lomé, indicating the chosen path and specialization.
A legalized excerpt of the birth certificate.
A detailed curriculum vitae listing the history of previous studies.
Legalized copies of the transcripts from the first and second parts of the baccalaureate.
A medical certificate attesting to the fitness to practice the profession of Engineer or Higher Technician.
A payment receipt for the application processing fee, set at ten thousand (10,000) CFA francs for UEMOA zone nationals and fifteen thousand (15,000) CFA francs for those from non-UEMOA countries.
Application submissions will take place from September 4th to September 15th, 2023, on business days, from 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM, at the EPL secretariat at the University of Lomé.
