Electricity service users of the Togo Electric Power Company (CEET) will have to face disruptions in the electricity supply on Thursday, August 24th, and Friday, August 25th, 2023. These disruptions are due to major maintenance work scheduled during this period.
CEET has informed residents of Lomé and its surroundings that electricity supply interruptions are unavoidable until Friday, August 25th, 2023, due to planned maintenance work on electrical infrastructure. The outages are primarily scheduled during the daytime, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the latest, and will vary based on the targeted geographical areas.
The company advises its customers to disconnect their devices during these interruption periods and to only reconnect them after electricity is restored. The targeted interruptions are as follows:
Thursday, August 24th, 2023: From 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM: Djagblé, Klobatèmè, Gbama Kopé, Abolavé, and surrounding areas. Friday, August 25th, 2023: From 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM: Tounoukouti, Kpotavé, and surrounding areas. These maintenance works, though they may cause temporary inconveniences, are essential to ensure the stability and quality of the electrical network, the company informs.
