According to the latest information from RMC Sport, Paul Pogba and N’Golo Kanté will not be included in the France squad, which will be unveiled this Thursday, for the upcoming international break in September.

On Thursday at 2 p.m. (local time), the head coach of the French national team, Didier Deschamps, will announce the highly anticipated list of players who will represent France in the upcoming matches against Ireland and Germany, scheduled for September 7th and 12th respectively. While fans are expecting exciting revelations, two notable names will surprisingly be absent from the list.

According to RMC Sport, N’Golo Kanté will not be called up for these two crucial matches. This decision is particularly surprising as Kanté recently left Chelsea to join Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia during the summer transfer window, where he managed to regain playing time. However, these performances were not enough to earn him a spot in the national team on this occasion.

The other player whose absence is announced is Paul Pogba. The midfielder, after a challenging season at Juventus in the 2022-2023 season, has finally found his rhythm and form on the field. Unfortunately for him, this resurgence has not been sufficient to convince Didier Deschamps to recall him for the two upcoming matches for Les Bleus. Pogba, known for his playmaking abilities and skill in delivering decisive passes, will have to wait for another opportunity to don the national jersey once again.
