Long-awaited on the subject, Beninese singer Nikanor has reacted to the birth of the first child of singer Sessimè, with whom he has been in a relationship for over five years.
Sessimè, the singer, has become a mother for the first time at the age of 39. Before this blessing of motherhood, Sessimè was mocked for not having become a mother. She was even referred to as a sterile woman.
As God’s timing is the best, the singer of the song “Guigo” gave birth to her first child about three weeks ago. Since then, even though Sessimè had already announced being in a relationship with Nikanor, internet users have been wondering who the father of Sessimè’s daughter is.
Highly anticipated on this question, Nikanor broke the silence during his appearance at the 2023 Cotonou Barbecue. “God has shown me grace, and God has also shown grace to someone,” he said to the applause of the audience.
According to the singer of the song “Dans tes yeux” (In Your Eyes), everything comes to those who wait. He thus evokes Sessimè’s pregnancy and childbirth. “Even if it takes time, God’s time always comes. Many people are mistaken, it’s not a boy, it’s a girl (…), it’s a girl,” he declared to the eagerly awaiting public on this controversy.
On her part, Sessimè does not miss any opportunity to express her joy of being a mother. “I will never be alone again,” she wrote last Sunday. For now, the couple Sessimè and Nikanor have not yet revealed the first photo or the name of their child.
