Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad officially announced the arrival of Brazilian midfielder Fabinho from Liverpool on Monday. The Auriverde star was stuck at the Arabian Arab border due to his bulldogs, which were not allowed in the Persian Gulf.
Finally, a resolution for Fabinho. Long blocked by his pets, whose presence is not allowed in Saudi Arabia, the Brazilian midfielder has finally signed his contract with Al Ittihad. It was the club from Jeddah that officially announced the arrival of their new recruit in a post on social media on Monday.
The former Liverpool player has signed a three-year contract, until 2026. He is expected to earn a salary of approximately 15 million euros per year. The transfer cost the Saudi club 40 million euros. At the age of 29, Fabinho joins Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kanté, and Jota, who have also signed with the champions of the Saudi Pro League.
Arriving at Liverpool in 2018 from Monaco, Fabinho played no less than 219 matches with the Reds in all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing 10 assists. Now, he will attempt to write new chapters in his career in the Persian Gulf.
