Crafted by adidas, the club’s long-standing sportswear partner, this jersey is two-tone with an intense black color adorned with touches of yellow in honor of the crown featured on the club’s emblem. “It includes yellow details such as the badge and the adidas logo. The jersey also features a charcoal tone on the three stripes that run across the shoulders. Its design is elegant yet sporty, making it a versatile, understated, and stylish garment,” the club explained in a statement on its website.
This “third” kit expertly balances style and innovation. It combines lightness, functionality, and is equipped with HEAT.RDY technology, ensuring freedom of movement for each athlete while staying in line with the latest urban fashion trends.
“We drew inspiration from Real Madrid’s long-standing position as a pioneer in football to create an item that allows fans and players to stand out. It’s primarily designed to support athletes on the grandest stage. However, by designing at the intersection of heritage, identity, and expression, it’s a jersey intended to be just as effective for supporters on the street as it is for players on the field,” said Sam Handy, Vice President of Design for the Herzogenaurach-based company.
Real Madrid could already sport this new kit next Saturday, during their match against Atletico Madrid for the first round of the new Spanish league season.
