The club revealed on Friday the squad selected by Carlo Ancelotti for the away match against Almeria. A match that counts for the second round of the Spanish championship.

After their impressive victory against Athletic Bilbao (2-0) last weekend, Real Madrid will aim to continue their success in La Liga this Saturday. For the second round of the Spanish championship, the Merengues will travel to Almeria (6:30 PM, GMT+1), a match that is well within their reach. However, Coach Carlo Ancelotti refuses to underestimate the opponent.

“We saw them play against Rayo. They are a well-organized team that didn’t deserve to lose. It will be an entertaining match because they want to play, they don’t just sit back. We need to replicate the performance we had against Bilbao,” he stated in a press conference on Friday. On the eve of the match, the Merengue club released the list of players who will travel to Almeria.

Other players who are not part of the squad include Courtois and Militao, who will be out for a significant part of the season, as well as Güler, Ceballos, and Mendy. On the other hand, the usual key players such as Vinicius, Modric, and the new recruit Jude Bellingham are present.

The squad: Goalkeepers: Lunin, Kepa, Fran Defenders: Carvajal, Alaba, Nacho, Odriozola, Lucas, Fran García, Rüdiger Midfielders: Bellingham, Kroos, Modric, Valverde, Tchouaméni, Camavinga, Nico Paz Forwards: Vinicius, Rodrygo, Brahim, Joselu
