“It must be said that he has great talent for his age. He has a very, very fine left foot. He has a fantastic left foot shot, and he is very technically skilled, especially in tight spaces. I think he is a pretty good and intelligent signing, especially for the future,” the German said, as reported by Footmercato. Besides his undeniable technical qualities, Arda Güler impresses with his eagerness to learn every day and his desire to be inspired by the best.
“However, we should be a bit cautious with so many expectations. There were also expectations with players who, in the end, did not meet them. Especially in this club, there are other problems that determine whether someone succeeds or not. It’s not just about having talent, technique, or shooting ability. He is one of those talents who asks, ‘How do you do that?’ He wants clues and advice. Many 18-year-old players think they are already very good and don’t need any advice. But he has this mentality of wanting to learn,” added Kroos, clearly charmed by the young Turkish prodigy.
Arda Güler has not yet had the opportunity to make his debut with Real Madrid. After missing the club’s first friendly matches due to a minor discomfort, he could make his first minutes in the Real Madrid jersey against FC Barcelona next Saturday.
