The Republic of Benin now has a new version of the Directory of Reference Prices. The document was presented on Friday, September 8, 2023.
The Ministry of Finance, through the National Directorate of Financial Control, has developed a new version of the Directory of Reference Prices (RPR).
Established since 2007 to meet the need for price regulation in public procurement in the Republic of Benin, the Directory of Reference Prices, for use by the public administration, is a technical tool for decision support, financial evaluation, and a means of budget forecasting and reliability control in the field of public procurement.
The new version of this document, which is the 17th version, has been available since this Friday and is part of the databases used by the Reference Costing System (SYCOREF), an application that financially evaluates the needs of credit managers in ministries and state institutions.
This document was developed by a multidisciplinary team composed of resource persons and officials from other ministerial departments and specialized agencies, including the Millennium Challenge Account Benin II (MCA-Benin II), the Agency for Information and Digital Systems (ASIN), the Benin Agency for Rural Electrification and Energy Management (ABERME), with technical support from the National Institute of Statistics and Demography (INStaD).
