After a disappointing opening day marked by a draw (0-0) against Lorient, PSG is getting ready for a match this Saturday (at 8:00 PM, GMT+1) against Toulouse, for the second round of the French championship. This game holds crucial importance for the players led by Luis Enrique, as a solid performance is imperative to dispel any uncertainty at the beginning of the season.
On the eve of this match, PSG revealed Luis Enrique’s squad for the occasion. A list of 22 players, including the return of Kylian Mbappé. “Kylian, I see him perfectly, as in the first training sessions, he has a lot of desire, motivation. For a coach, having a player of Kylian’s category, I am delighted for what he brings on the football pitch but also for his personality. He’s a world-class top player, without a doubt. It’s a great joy for me,” said the Spaniard in a press conference on Friday.
Notably, Ousmane Dembélé’s presence is also mentioned, as he recently arrived in Paris from FC Barcelona. The French international is even announced as a starter against Toulouse. On the absentees’ side, there’s no Juan Bernat, and Marco Verratti is also missing, who was already not in the squad against Lorient.
