In a pre-match press conference on Friday, PSG coach Luis Enrique revealed that Neymar’s departure was the best solution for all parties.
Neymar will continue his career in Saudi Arabia. The Brazilian has ended his 6-year adventure with PSG and officially signed with Al Hilal last Tuesday. According to the new Paris Saint-Germain coach, Luis Enrique, this departure was the best option for everyone involved.
“I believe it was a favorable decision for all. I would like to thank him for the behavior he has shown since I arrived. He is a world-class player and I wish him the best for the future,” said the former FC Barcelona and Spain coach in a press conference on Friday.
On his part, Neymar is excited to have joined Saudi Arabia. He is looking forward to facing the superstars of other major clubs in the league, including Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema. “I am very happy to find quality players in other teams because it excites you, it motivates you to play even better. It’s obvious that when you face Ronaldo, Benzema, Firmino, the excitement is even greater. So, I am very happy to enter this league, and I am sure that playing against them will be wonderful,” he stated in an interview with Al Hilal’s media.
