The latest acquisition of West Ham United, Mohammed Kudus, has revealed that his childhood wish has always been to play in the English Premier League.

Speaking in his first interview as a West Ham player, Kudus expressed his childhood aspiration to play in the English league. According to the 23-year-old Ghanaian player, he hopes to make his mark in the club’s history.

“Since I was a kid, I’ve been dreaming of playing in a league like this. So, I take each day as it comes, following my dream, and now we are here. But it’s not the end; we will continue to make history and move forward,” Kudus said on an episode of the Iron Cast podcast.

“My desire was to play in the Premier League, but I also wanted to join a club where I could further my development. The project presented to me resonates with my ambition and the direction I aim for,” he added.

Mohammed Kudus, who secured a five-year contract worth £38 million, left the Dutch team Ajax Amsterdam last weekend. The attacking midfielder played 87 matches and scored 27 goals for Ajax during his three-year stay in the Netherlands.
