After participating in the opening ceremony of the 34th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations, the talented Ivorian singer Josey spoke out in a post on her Facebook page.
The 2024 Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) kicked off on Saturday, January 13 at the Olympique Ebimpé stadium in Abidjan. Prior to the kickoff, an opening ceremony was organized, featuring the participation of numerous local and international artists, including the renowned singer Josey.
Following her remarkable performance, congratulations and words of encouragement poured in from all sides. Clearly delighted, Josey also expressed herself in a post on her Facebook page on Sunday, January 14, 2024. “If it isn’t GOD, what can I create? Nothing at all. It was a first for me, by His Pure Grace,” she wrote.
Josey also expressed her gratitude to all those who supported her. “I thank the cocan2023. My kisses go to Maman Françoise Remarck, to Georges Momboye. And to all those who fought for me to stand on that stage yesterday.
Know that you didn’t fight for me, but you did it for GOD because this gift that I have, which you appreciate so much, I owe it to Him. A new page has been written for me, another journey in my resume as a singer of the country. I mean… what pride!!! What a moment!!! Thank you. I LOVE YOU IVORY COAST. For you, I would give everything,” concludes the Ivorian diva.
