It was in the air, and now it’s official! Ante Rebic has joined Besiktas from AC Milan. The Turkish club announced the news on their social media this Monday afternoon.
“The transfer of professional footballer Ante Rebic has been agreed with his club and himself. An agreement has been reached with the player for 2 seasons, starting from the 2023-2024 season. For the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 seasons, the player will receive net guarantee fees of 2,500,000 euros, net signing fees of 280,000 euros, and net maximum fees of 10,000 euros per match depending on the competition’s duration,” explained the Turkish club in a statement on their website.
Ante Rebic successfully underwent his medical examination in Istanbul, and the contracts have been duly signed. The transfer amount is around 2 million euros, as reported by Footmercato. It’s worth noting that the 29-year-old winger will proudly wear the number 7 on his jersey for the upcoming season with his new team.
Last season, Ante Rebic played 31 matches for AC Milan, scoring 3 goals and providing 2 assists. In total, he spent four seasons with the Rossoneri, scoring 29 goals and providing 17 assists in 123 matches with the Italian team.
