AC Milan has officially signed Yunus Musah as a replacement for Sandro Tonali, who left for over 70 million euros to Newcastle. The Rossoneri announced the arrival of the young American in their squad on Friday evening through a press release.
“AC Milan is pleased to announce the permanent signing of Yunus Musah. The midfielder has signed a contract with the club until June 30, 2028,” the Italians stated. Yunus Musah will proudly wear the number 80 jersey for Milan.
The 20-year-old midfielder has had an outstanding individual season at Valencia. During this period, he also established himself as a key player for the United States national team during the recent World Cup.
Born on November 29, 2002, in New York, Yunus began his training at Arsenal’s academy before joining Valencia in 2019. He initially played for the reserve team for a season before earning a place in the first team. He made his debut in September 2020 and has since accumulated 108 appearances and scored 5 goals. Now in Serie A, he will continue his development.
