Yemi expresses her gratitude to God for surviving a car accident in Spain.
Yemi Eberechi Alade, better known by her stage name Yemi Alade, has survived a car accident in Spain. The 34-year-old singer revealed this on her Instagram page, adding that the incident occurred while she was on her way to a recent event in Spain.
She uploaded a video capturing the moment she received quick medical care after the incident. Sharing her ordeal with her fans, Yemi Alade thanked Almighty God for his protection and support.
“On the 17th of August, at 12:06 pm noon, we had an accident somewhere between Barcelona and Benicassim in Spain. I also had a minor emergency due to exhaustion after performing on stage 7 hours after the incident the same day. And somehow, I ended up at the ‘after party’ (forgive me, my mind needed good vibes). Life is for the living… I didn’t want to share this, but destiny said otherwise, but my God will provide,” she wrote.
“The blood of Jesus spoke for us. I only lost an nail, everything happened so fast. Nothing is too sudden or too complicated for God. His grace is more than enough,” the singer added.
Known for her catchy music, Yemi Alade recently made headlines on social media as rumors circulated that she might be pregnant with Togolese President Faure Gnassingbé, who has been in power since 2005. According to a video circulating on the internet, a blogger reported that the singer had a close relationship with the Togolese leader who was considering making her his 6th wife. Reacting to these speculations, the “Johnny” hitmaker went on Twitter to post laughing and pregnant emojis.
