Adama Bictogo, the candidate of the Rally of Houphouëtists for Democracy and Peace (RHDP) for the municipal elections in Yopougon, declared on Saturday, August 26, 2023, that the municipality’s program, which includes all social layers and various infrastructure, is a “chance” for the community.
During his rally held on the second day of the seven-day election campaign, Adama Bictogo stated, “We are a chance for Yopougon.” As part of his program, Bictogo mentioned plans for building a modern terminal for transporters in Yopougon, a cultural palace, a sports palace, a market for women in each neighborhood, as well as road rehabilitation and the creation of a solidarity fund for youth.
In the municipal elections in Yopougon, the RHDP candidate faces Michel Gbagbo from the African Peoples Party-Ivory Coast (PPA-CI), Dia Houphouët from the Democratic Party of Ivory Coast (PDCI), and Chérif Sarata, the president of the Citizen Solidarity Movement (M.SC).
