The Ivorian columnist and actress, Marie Paul Adjé, is currently furious. While traveling in Asia, she has become a target of cybercriminals. Misguided individuals have created a fake TikTok account using her name, intending to extort money from her acquaintances.
To protect her remaining fans and followers who have not yet fallen into their trap, the columnist made a post on her actual accounts on Friday, November 17, 2023, raising awareness and denouncing the fake account. “Please, my dear fans, help me report this fake account that is using my image for fraudulent purposes,” she wrote as a caption alongside a screenshot of the fake account.
It’s worth noting that the fake account has thousands of followers, while the genuine one has millions of followers.
