“I have spent five unforgettable years with this football club, working with incredible players, fantastic supporters, and the best coach in the world. I have collected memories for a lifetime. The way we won the Premier League title and the battles we fought with Liverpool and, last year, with Arsenal, showcased our desire to play together and our mentality to be the best. Manchester City will always be a part of my life,” he declared.
Riyad Mahrez’s time at Manchester City has been nothing short of extraordinary. He shone in 236 matches, scoring 78 goals, and providing an impressive 58 assists to his teammates, making him an essential member of Pep Guardiola’s squad. Under the colors of Manchester City, he lifted major trophies on 11 occasions. Finally, he leaves the club on a high note, concluding his last season with a historic treble, including the triumph in the UEFA Champions League.
