A Beechcraft Model 390 light aircraft crashed on Thursday in central Malaysia, resulting in the deaths of eight people on board and two people on the ground.
At least 10 individuals, including six passengers and two crew members, died on Thursday in a plane crash in Malaysia, according to local police. The aircraft crashed in the Elmina region in the capital of Selangor State, Shah Alam, the police stated to the official news agency Bernama.
The casualty count stands at eight people, including those on board the aircraft, as well as a car driver and a motorcyclist who were killed when the plane struck the ground. The incident occurred near the town of Elmina located in the suburbs of Shah Alam, the capital of Selangor State.
The plane had taken off from the beach resort island of Langkawi in the country’s north and was heading to Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport to the west of the capital, Kuala Lumpur, detailed the head of the civil aviation authority, Norazman Mahmud. “No distress call was made,” he added. He stated that an investigation will be conducted.
