The candidate of the ruling party in the Municipal elections on September 2, 2023, Laurent Tchagba, was in the commune of Marcory on Sunday, July 16, to address RHDP militants.
The minister conducted a field mission on Saturday, July 15, and Sunday, July 16, 2023, to encourage his troops in 10 partisan zones of the commune. This mission comes 48 hours after receiving the blessing of the President of the Republic, Alassane Ouattara.
First, on Saturday, July 15, in the Western department, he visited the first five regions to rally the militants, one month and two weeks before this important election date, and on Sunday, July 16, 2023, he took to the streets to cross the border of the last region in the eastern neighborhood.
The candidate of the ruling party, proud of the mobilization on the ground, greeted the secretaries of the ministries in the East, Senator Mariam Fétégué Koulibaly, and in the West, Monney Georges Yves, and all the local elected officials for the work done and encouraged them to redouble their efforts to ensure victory, which must necessarily come through an effective network of militants.
He explained to the militants that based on the figures of the past three years, his party is the leading political force on the ground in Marcory. However, it loses elections due to division and conflicts among militants that result in independent candidacies. “Division weakens the party, and unity strengthens us. Let’s stay united. Let’s remain mobilized, in unity and fraternity, to meet the challenge of victory on September 2, 2023. I am happy and proud to see that our great party, the RHDP, is doing well,” Laurent Tchagba rejoiced.
During his visits, he urged the local elected officials from the East and West departments to work together, especially with allied parties at the Marcory level, to strengthen the party’s presence in the commune and to be at the forefront with effective engagement on the ground.
The minister, who successively met with the political staff of Marcory East and West, zone secretaries, section secretaries, and heads of specialized structures, instructed them to rely on the e-militant system currently in place across the country by the RHDP. This system of digital identification of militants aims to provide a party with precise knowledge of the exact number of its militants and the real configuration of its grassroots structures.
Furthermore, he urged the ministerial secretaries to accelerate the pace of the operation to achieve the objectives set by the party to track and evaluate all militants. Finally, candidate Laurent Tchagbo was praised for his political acumen, and the units in the East and West assured him of the support of the militants to win the mayoralty of Marcory.
