The entrance examination for the gendarmerie schools in Côte d’Ivoire is open for the year 2023, announced the Supreme Commander of the National Gendarmerie, General Apalo Touré.
The entrance examination for the 2023 gendarmerie schools is open to young Ivorian nationals aged at least 18 years and at most 25 years by December 31, 2023, holding at least the BEPC (Certificate of Basic Education) or an equivalent recognized diploma. Additionally, candidates must measure at least 1.68 meters for men and 1.66 meters for women.
From Wednesday, July 26, to Sunday, August 6, 2023, pre-registrations will be open. For additional details on the pre-registration conditions, visit the Gendarmerie website: www.ci-gendarmerie.org.
What you need to know about the phases of the Gendarmerie competition: The competition will take place in two stages. The first stage of pre-selection consists of physical and written exams, and then the second stage of training consists of sports activities, technical tests, and interviews.
Candidates who are selected after the competition will be admitted to the gendarmerie school for a two-year training program. After completing this training, they will be designated as non-commissioned gendarmes.
