The famous singer Koffi Olomidé will appeal the court’s decision in the case involving identity theft that has caused a dispute with the actor Koffi de Brazza.
On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, the court in Brazzaville delivered its verdict in the Koffi Olomidé – Koffi de Brazza case. According to the local press, since Koffi Olomidé did not prevail, he has decided to file an appeal.
“I am surprised to learn from social media that Koffi de Brazza won the lawsuit against my client Koffi Olomidé. This is completely false,” wrote one of Mopao Mokonzi’s legal advisors, Erick Yvon Impouanga.
In a video posted on TikTok by Koffi’s sister, Ruffine Agbepa, on Wednesday, August 2, the lawyer denounces a “miscarriage of justice.” According to him, the “appointed judge did not rule on the issue submitted to him, which reveals a lack of competence.”
To address this, Attorney Erick Yvon calls on Koffi de Brazza to appear before the Court of Appeals. On the other hand, Koffi de Brazza and his friends are celebrating victory.
