It’s preferable to make your own detergent rather than buying those scented with orange or lemon offered by many supermarkets. Not only does this save money, but it also poses fewer risks to health and the environment. For this, you will need:

- Salt
- 4 to 5 orange peels
- Vinegar
- Detergent
- 2 tablespoons of baking soda
So, how do you go about it?
When you have all the ingredients ready, start by pouring 1 liter of water into a saucepan. Then add the pieces of orange peel along with two tablespoons of salt and one tablespoon of baking soda. Mix everything well and place it on the heat. When the solution turns orange in color, turn off the heat and strain the liquid. Then pour it into a bowl and add 150 ml of vinegar and 500 ml of dishwashing liquid. Transfer the detergent obtained into a bottle with a sprayer, and there you have it; it’s done.
