Young Beninese entrepreneur Boniface Ebo doesn’t miss any opportunity to innovate. After “Nelleos” in 2022, he has just unveiled his new solution called CemoPay, which rivals a solution introduced by the young Ivorian Jonathan Morrison a few months ago.
It’s no longer a secret that Africa’s digital market holds vast potential. As announced by the young Ivorian entrepreneur Jonathan Morrison, there are still some challenges that could hinder its growth.
To anticipate these issues, the former owner of Maria Mobile and the young Ivorian entrepreneur Jonathan Morrison, creator of Cam Tchin-Tchinn and Treiize Taxi, ventured into finance in February 2023 by launching an application called Treiize Pay, which uses a technology that involves a bank card. Jonathan Morrison’s goal was to make banking transactions easier for users.
However, Jonathan Morrison now has a formidable competitor. Enter young Beninese entrepreneur Boniface Ebo, who has provided Africa and the world with a solution to address the inaccessibility of certain online services. Named CemoPay, this solution is an open and free tool created by a group of ingenious young people to address the problem posed by Jonathan Morrison: facilitating users’ financial transactions online, avoiding the hassle of traditional banks.
Once registered on CemoPay, users have the ability to create virtual credit cards for all their online payments, including purchasing credit in any country worldwide, regardless of their location. More than just a solution, CemoPay proves to be an invaluable partner to successfully navigate the ever-evolving digital economy of the African continent.
Before introducing CemoPay, Boniface Ebo created a card in 2022 that uses NFC technology, which is present in the majority of phones, to share the information typically found on a business card by simply touching the card to the phone.
