Ivorian music diva, Josey, has won a new award, marking a new chapter in her music career. This happened during the Jayli Awards 2023.
The talented Ivorian singer, Priscille Josée Gnakrou, known more commonly as Josey, has recently been going through difficult times. But amidst the challenges, the Ivorian music diva has found reason to smile. She was crowned the Best Female Artist of the Year at the first edition of the Jayli Awards, which took place on Friday, November 3, 2023, at the Palais des Congrès de Sofitel Hôtel Ivoire in Cocody.
Expressing her joy at receiving this new award, the singer of “Diplôme” expressed her gratitude to her fans and loved ones. “Recognition is divine. Let us be grateful to those who do us good,” she said.
It is worth noting that Serey Die was by Josey’s side during this awards ceremony.
As a reminder, a few days ago, Josey made the decision to withdraw from social media by deleting her Facebook and Instagram accounts. Shortly after the announcement, the singer’s accounts were nowhere to be found on social media platforms.
