President Alassane Ouattara issued a decree on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, on the official page of the Ministry of Justice, in which he appointed KONE Braman Oumar to assume the position of the outgoing Prosecutor, Adou Richard.

The Ministry of Justice and Human Rights announced the name of the new Prosecutor of the Republic, who will take over from Prosecutor Adou Richard. The President of the Republic, His Excellency Alassane Ouattara, signed two decrees to appoint judges.

On July 24, 2023, Mr. KONE Braman Oumar was appointed as a Magistrate Outside the Hierarchy, Group B, after three years of service. He previously served as Prosecutor of the Republic for the Economic and Financial Criminal Court. He succeeded Mr. Adou Richard Christophe, who had been assigned to other functions.

In the past, Mr. Braman Oumar Koné served as Prosecutor of the Republic at the Abengourou Court of First Instance before becoming Prosecutor of the Republic at the Bouaké Court of First Instance. On July 24, 2023, decree number 2023-690 appointed AMOATTA Nina Michelle, spouse Kamagaté, as counselor at the Abidjan Court of Appeal, as Prosecutor of the Republic.

In replacement of Koné Braman, she has been assigned to other positions at the Economic and Financial Criminal Court. She had previously served as an investigating judge before becoming a judge at the Abidjan Court of First Instance, and then as a deputy prosecutor at the Daloa Court of First Instance. Thus, here is the introduction of the new representatives in the position of chief authorities.
