After suffering from a severe illness and being hospitalized for an extended period, the famous Zouglou singer, Petit Dénis, has resurfaced with an exciting gift for his fans.
Dénis Koulaté, better known by his stage name Petit Dénis, endured an illness that required a stay at a hospital in Abidjan, the address of which was kept confidential by his production company A. Phoenix Music. Following several months of medical treatment, the singer fortunately recovered, bringing joy among his supporters.
During his appearance on the “Willy à Midi” show on February 19, 2024, broadcast on Life TV, Petit Dénis premiered a brand new single titled “Solawe.” It is noteworthy that even before his participation in this show, he had already begun to perform live again.
At a tribute concert for Ivorian artists, intended to thank the President of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara, which took place on February 18, 2024, on Boulevard Valérie Giscard d’Estaing, Petit Dénis received a warm ovation when his name was announced.
Before delighting the audience with his performance, Petit Dénis shed some light on the illness that had kept him away from his fans and the microphone.
“I was just having a little fatigue crisis. I’m someone who moves a lot. I don’t know where this rumor came from. It’s not the first time I’ve been declared dead. It’s God who has the last word. This rumor weighed heavily on my mind. But, I managed to overcome it,” he said.
As for his controversial behavior, El Capo has taken a lot of self-reflection and indicated that he would like to change his life to please his fans.
In conclusion, the child of the Gbatanikro neighborhood also expressed his gratitude to the Zouglou group Révolution, who paid tribute to him through a song. “I really want to thank Révolution group for this song in my favor, but I would like to tell them that, I will give them their answer in a song as well because this path is not my path,” he concluded.
