On Saturday, July 29, 2023, Koua Justin, a senior member of the African People’s Party – Ivory Coast (PPA-CI), posted a concerning message on his Facebook page. He expressed his concerns about a potential threat to his life and safety.
Indeed, Justin Koua shared a message in which he reported that masked individuals were climbing the fence of his residence in Korhogo. This situation has raised serious concerns about their intentions, which could lead to kidnapping or assassination.
As a result, the security of the PPA-CI’s first general secretary is severely compromised, and it is necessary to pay close attention to this situation in order to protect him and understand the reasons behind this potential threat. “I have learned that masked people are climbing the fence of my residence in Korhogo, with the intention of perhaps kidnapping or assassinating me… but I am in pre-campaign in Attécoubé. Each one is doing their job,” Justin Koua stated.
It is worth noting that this statement comes just three days after the PPA-CI condemned the arrest of the party’s national secretary’s wife, Guillaume Kamé Kamé.
