“On Wednesday, August 30, 2023, the police successfully thwarted an attempted robbery in the 2 Plateaux Vallon neighborhood of Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
According to police sources, two criminals entered a residence around 4 a.m. A team from the BRI NORTH was dispatched to the scene following an alert call. The police immediately responded when the culprits opened fire. One of the robbers was killed during the confrontation, and his accomplice was apprehended.
During the search, law enforcement confiscated four electronic devices, two of which belonged to the homeowner and the other two to the housekeeper. Additionally, a 12-gauge firearm with ammunition was seized.
