Franklin Nyamsi, who was a special adviser to Guillaume Soro, the former President of the National Assembly of Ivory Coast, recently won a legal battle against Charles Blé Goudé, the president of COJEP.

Charles Blé Goudé, who leads the Pan-African Congress for Justice and Peoples’ Equality (COJEP), suffered a legal defeat. On Friday, July 28, 2023, his complaint against Professor Franklin Nyamsi, a special adviser to Guillaume Soro and former deputy of Ferkessédougou, was dismissed by the French court.

On January 15, 2021, the former detainee of The Hague prison filed a lawsuit in France against the philosophy professor and pro-Gbagbo activist, Arlette Zaté, for “false denunciation and public defamation.” After the investigation, Guillaume Soro’s close associate was not prosecuted by the French justice system.

“Considering the evidence, a decision of non-place will be rendered regarding the facts alleged against Mr. Franklin Nyamsi,” decided Judge Marie-Claire Noiriel. Ivorian lawyer, Maître Affoussyata Bamba-Lamine, who is part of Professor Franklin Nyamsi’s defense team, secured this victory.

Following this decision, the President of the Pan-African Congress for Justice and Peoples’ Equality left Abidjan for Europe on Saturday, July 29, 2023. This opportunity will also allow Blé Goudé to meet with the Ivorian and African diaspora in France and Belgium.
