Since July 2021, the Abidjan Tower F has been under construction. As of today, the work is progressing rapidly, and the tower is expected to be completed by the end of the year 2025.
Located in the heart of Plateau, Abidjan’s commercial district, Tower F will stand at 400 meters, comprising 76 floors. It will consist of a two-level basement, a 10-story pedestal, a main body of 54 stories, and a 12-story pinnacle. There will be 23 elevators and a total area of 140,000 square meters.
Designed to be an iconic building for Abidjan and Ivory Coast, it is being constructed by architect Pierre Fakhoury. The tower will house various Ivorian government services, thereby reducing costs. Furthermore, the PFO Africa consortium consists of Ivorian companies PFO and BNETD, as well as Belgian company Besix, overseeing the construction of Tower F. The investment in the project amounts to approximately 250 billion CFA francs.
It’s worth noting that the construction is currently at the 30th floor. The upper part of the tower, including the main body and pinnacle, is currently under construction. Facade renovation works are also underway.
Lastly, Tower F will symbolize Ivory Coast’s emergence and the modernization of the city of Abidjan. Moreover, it will become an iconic structure in Africa, contributing to enhancing Ivory Coast’s attractiveness.
