The younger son of Dah Sié Kobenan, who passed away on August 6, 2023, in the Guiglo department in western Ivory Coast, murdered his older brother in a plantation-related dispute.

According to Fratmat.info, brothers DSG and DSD were in charge of their deceased father’s cocoa plantation. After selling the harvest, 40-year-old D.S.G. gave 16,000 CFA francs to his younger brother D.S.D. on the day of the incident. However, 21-year-old D.S.D. became dissatisfied with his share, sparking a violent brawl.

In a fit of anger, D.S.D. grabbed a stick during the altercation and brutally struck his older brother. Consequently, the older brother collapsed and was rushed to the emergency room. Sadly, he passed away before reaching the village health center.
