Chioma, Davido’s wife, is a mother for the second time. The couple welcomed a new member into their family last weekend. It is a baby born in London, and the paternity is attributed to Davido.
Good news for Chioma. After the death of their eldest son, Davido’s wife, Chioma Rowland, has become a mother again. Last weekend, the couple received a wave of congratulations announcing the birth of their son on social media.
The message that seems more credible comes from the Nigerian comedian Helen Paul, better known as Tatafo, who shared a tweet of congratulations celebrating the couple’s presumed new member. “Congratulations to you,” she stated without specifying that it is Chioma and Davido’s second child.
In late December 2023, amidst mourning their son’s passing in October 2022, Davido and Chioma were at the center of a marriage controversy. A Nigerian blogger had revealed that the couple secretly got married during traditional ceremonies, even before their child’s burial.
Returning to social media after a six-month break, the singer confirmed this information in an interview. At the time, Davido proudly announced that he was married to Chioma.
