The day after her mother’s passing, Kim Makosso found herself plunged into an uncontrollable depression. The young woman opened up during a live session on her TikTok account while chatting with her followers about her strategy for coping with her mother’s death.
“I struggled a lot with my mother’s death. I went through depression, I isolated myself, and I lived alone because of my mother’s passing. From the year my mother died until the end of 2022,” Kim Makosso disclosed. According to General Camille Makosso’s eldest daughter, she couldn’t accept her mother’s death.
“It was only towards the end of 2022 that I understood everything. I was suffering in silence, at night, when I wanted to cry, I closed both doors, sat down under the shower, and cried, I started to scream,” she recounted.
She, who is known as the charismatic “Sugar” of Axel Merryl, acknowledges that the arrival of certain people in her life significantly changed her perspective on her mother’s death. She mentions her encounter with the Beninese comedian and singer Axel Merryl and his friends, including Bovann, Thema, and Anatala, with whom she shares the limelight on the TikTok social media platform in Francophone Africa.
